The Crown’s secret leak revealed... IT’S CAMILLA!
With the Windsor family’s dirty laundry being aired, Camilla has been accused of sharing some very private details
For months the royal family has been desperately investigating a leak within the palace, after whispers began to circulate that someone was disclosing incredibly sensitive information to writers of hit Netflix show The Crown. Now, the finger is being pointed at someone within the walls of Buckingham Palace – and all eyes are on the Duchess of Cornwall!
“She’s been accused of being the culprit after a string of suspicious emails were found between her and the show’s producer, Suzanne Mackie,” one palace insider tells Woman’s Day exclusively. “There are details about Camilla and Charles’ relationship which no one apart from them would have ever known... Camilla must be to blame.”
PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS
According to our source, Prince Charles, 71, even confronted Camilla, 72, at one point, which led to an epic fallout.
“Charles insists no one would have known he was sent away to keep him and Camilla apart, in addition to the intimate and private conversations that became part of the show, which he said were scarily similar to ones they had,” reveals our source.
“The future king had given a royal security aide the job of investigating if there was a leak from inside the walls of Buckingham Palace, and when the evidence pointed to Camilla, he was in a state of shock.”
‘When evidence pointed to her, Charles was in a state of shock’
But the source says Camilla claims she has been hacked, and is demanding that the matter be investigated further.
Still, those in the know suspect she’s already in too deep – and any attempt she is making to prove her innocent is futile.
“The leak comes after Camilla’s character on the show, played by Emerald Fennell, came off as a somewhat unsung hero in its recent much-lauded third season,” our insider adds. “And they’re already filming season four – with rumours that it will feature some damning stuff about Diana and her marriage to Charles – so it’s rather hard not to point the finger at the Duchess of Cornwall.”
