‘EASTER WILL BE A TIME TO REFRESH’

-

Sarah Harris Harris, who is hosting Easter With The Australian Women’s Weekly, says no matter the problem, chocolate is the answer...

It’s been a tough start to the year. Do you think Easter will bring some much-needed respite?

Easter will be the perfect chance for everyone to reset and refresh. I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time with family. And there’ll be chocolate. Lots of it. And there isn’t much chocolate can’t fix, right?

What does your Easter spread look like?

There are always plenty of prawns and salads on the table... and a few glasses of bubbles never goes astray!

Are your sons Paul, five, and Harris, three, big on the Easter Bunny?

My boys are mad for chocolate! They must get it from me. We’ll leave carrots and water out for the E Easter Bunny the night before, and the egg hunt begins around 5am on Easter Sunday. They’re like little bloodhounds and manage to sniff out every last egg!

What’s your best advice for a stress-free Easter?

Go with the flow, try to remember the message of the holiday... and wear stretchy pants!

What’s your favourite type of chocolate?

Plain milk chocolate reigns supreme in my book!

Tell us about the show...

The wonderful thing about Easter With The AWW is that it not only brings the iconic magazine to life, but it gives a platform to my favourite charity, The Smith Family. In the special, we meet a gorgeous mum-of-four doing it tough. It’s hard not to cry happy tears! EASTER WITH THE AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S WEEKLY Friday, 7.30pm, Ten
