A hunky meditation guru is making the TV presenter smile
While the past few years may have been rocky, Australian television veteran Deborah Hutton is ensuring her feet are firmly in the lotus position after she’s been spotted looking very cosy with her meditation teacher, Andrew Marsh.
The 58-year-old has been seen on several occasions with the well-known Bondi guru, with many speculating the duo are more than just Zen friends.
The pair certainly seemed affectionate when they were spotted on the balcony of Deborah’s $3.8 million Bronte home last week.
An insider from Deb’s inner circle says the TV presenter grew close to Andrew – a former winemaker who has two children – after she turned to meditation to get over past traumas.
“They forged a close bond after Deb found meditating helped her deal with her
break-up in 2018 and the trial that followed,” the source tells Woman’s Day.
Last year Deborah flew to India with Andrew as part of a meditation retreat for some much-needed downtime.
“They’ve spent a lot of time together during the pandemic as it’s brought up a whole lot of hidden anxiety for her,” says the insider.
Andrew’s calming presence in Deborah’s life will surely be a welcome addition for the star, whose past relationships have been everything but tranquil.
In 2018, Deb’s ex-partner Robert Dulhunty fabricated a bizarre home invasion story at her home while she was away.
A NSW court heard that Robert had lied about the robbery and was found to be the owner of a backpack – which was filled with condoms, rope, pliers, a hammer, zip ties and photos of Deb – that was discovered at the scene.
He was convicted of several charges including stalking and intimidation, and placed Deb under so much stress that she had to hire personal security.
