The singer has friends and fans convinced she’s expecting
Over the years songstress Delta Goodrem has remained noticeably quiet about her private life and blossoming relationship with her musician partner Matthew Copley.
But last week, the 35-year-old shocked fans when she opened up and even dropped a hint the couple are expecting twins!
“It’s a relationship of respect. Matt is an incredible musician and we really enjoy working together,” she said of the pair and their romance in lockdown.
Delta has been dating fellow musician Matt since 2017, and friends say their recent stint in isolation has only served to tighten their bond.
“Becoming a mother is something Delta has always wanted to do,” dishes a source. “She knows Matt is going to make a great dad and give her the stability she’s always craved,” tells the insider.
Interestingly, fans have noticed the star has appeared noticeably clucky on social media over the past few weeks.
Earlier this month, Delta shared a cute baby photo of herself from 1985, where the star told her fans she was reminiscing her own childhood, urging them to “stop and rewind”.
What’s more, as Sydney’s isolation regulations lifted last week, the singer was quick to reunite with her inner circle of friends, where she had tongues wagging by uploading a photo of her flaunting a “two” sign.
“The cutest! Can’t wait to be able to hug you and the rest of the tribe,” a friend commented, alluding to Delta’s seemingly growing family!
It’s no surprise she’s planning a family now, previously saying she’d wait until later in life.
“I always knew it would be a little later in life for me.
“Of course I look forward to when that chapter is, and that will be a beautiful moment,” The Voice coach

There’s enough space in the home for her growing brood, with two large bedrooms and a 24-hour concierge.
