KATE & WILLS FORCED TO FLEE THE PALACE!

The worried couple have taken their kids to their country home as the royals are plagued by stalkers following a public backlash

-

Palace officials are on red alert after a terrifying admission from security experts – stalkers who have the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children in their sights are on a dramatic rise.

New statistics on a London police “red alert” dossier names 112 people, who they describe as “cranks” and “nutters”, with members of the monarchy in their sights.

It’s news that has chilled Prince William, 37, and his wife Kate, 38, to the core, and Woman’s Day has learned that after being told their kids were in grave danger, it took them just hours to pack up their lives and flee Kensington Palace.

‘They both agreed leaving was the best course of action’

“Kate’s entire world is her family and she was taking no chances on this,” says a source. “She explained to George and Charlotte, who are old enough to understand that Mummy’s a bit scared, and explained they should pack their favourite things quickly because they were all going on a holiday.”

Experts fear the dramatic increase in stalkers comes as public regard for the royal family is at an all-time low, thanks to Prince Andrew’s disastrous interview about his friendship with dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, along with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s shock move to the US months after walloping taxpayers with a massive bill to refurbish their Windsor cottage.

“Kate has begun fearing for her safety in a way she never thought possible, and just quietly, she’s seething that it’s because of the ridiculously selfish behaviour of members of her family,” says an insider.

“She and William feel way too exposed in London at the moment. Kensington Palace is right in the middle of a huge public park, and Kate found herself worrying about every innocent bystander snapping a selfie in front of her house. They both agreed that leaving London was the best course of action. Kate hates that because of the greedy actions of few, her family is forced to run away from their home. It really is hugely unfair given how hard she and William are working to claw the royals back to popularity in the eyes of the public, with their reputation in tatters because of the likes of Andrew, Harry and Meghan.”

Woman’s Day is told Kate and William fled for their rural bolthole Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

“They put the word out that their move north was because London was suffering so badly with the COVID-19 outbreak, but in reality, it’s more likely they simply feel much safer out there,” says a source. “It’s a tiny place, and these so-called nutters stand out like a sore thumb.

Being on a private estate makes it much easier for their security to keep all bases covered.” Plus, adds our source, George, six, Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Louis love it out there. “They’re probably making mud pies and having tennis lessons, blissfully unaware of the dangers, which is what Kate wants.”
