Kylie Jenner could be facing jail time after Forbes unceremoniously dumped her from its billionaire list.
The 22-year-old cosmetics mogul was left shame-faced after the trusted publication downgraded her status as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, suggesting she may have lied to the Securities Exchange Commission about her income and the value of her company.
The reality star hit back online, insisting, “All I see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. I’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. Period.”
However, reports claim she is laying the blame firmly at the feet of her “momager” Kris Jenner, 64, and is refusing to speak to her. An insider says, “Everyone knows Kris is in charge of the money. She looks after everything and has done from fromthe the start. Kylie doesn’t file her own taxes, she just signs what her mum tells her to sign.
“This is pretty bad, though. It’s all very well exaggerating something silly to a showbiz tabloid, but not to Forbes. Kylie’s probably got to fire her mum over this.
“Kylie’s terrified she could go to jail if it’s proven she lied about her earnings and taxes, but the worst thing is she hasn’t got a clue if she has or hasn’t!”
Sources say the entire family are in a panic, too, because any investigation into Kylie will lead on to an investigation into Kris – and then everyone associated with Kris will also be put under the microscope.
“From Kim to Kanye to Kendall and even Caitlyn – all of them could be placed under investigation!” adds the insider. “Everyone is furious with Kris and Kylie right now.”
