How to contour your face

NICHOLA JOSS (FACIALIST TO GWYNETH PALTROW AND MEGHAN, DUCHESS OF SUSSEX TO NAME A FEW) SHARES THIS ROUTINE FOR SOME EASY AT-HOME MOVEMENTS

-

1. Pop three-tofour drops of face oil into your palms and rub together gently to warm it. 2. Close your eyes and hold your hands up to your face taking a few deep breaths in to enjoy the aroma of the oil. This helps calm your mind too.

3. Gently press the palms of your hands to your face and move your hands outwards in smooth sweeping motions, working from the centre of the face outwards.

4. Massage the oil into your skin for one minute using your fingertips. Start from the centre of the face, working outwards and upwards in circular motions.

5. To tone the jawline, bend your index and middle fingers and place your chin between your knuckles. Glide from jawline to ears. Repeat six times.

6. To improve facial contours, gently push your thumbs upwards under your cheekbones. Work from the centre of the face outwards. Repeat six times.

7. To improve fine lines on your forehead, place your fingertips on the centre of your brow and firmly sweep upwards and outwards. Repeat six times.

8. Improve the firmness of your skin on the neck by gently using your palms to sweep the oil up the neck area. Be firm and only work upwards here.

9. Sweep your palms across your chest from left shoulder to right shoulder, across the decolletage. Repeat three times on both sides in sweeping motions.

10. Finally, sweep residual oil onto the back of your hands and up your arms to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to hydrate your skin.
