The embattled couple are set to finally call it quits
Tori Spelling is doing nothing to dismiss strong rumours that her rollercoaster marriage to Dean Mcdermott is finally over, after the couple was spotted looking colder than the iced drinks they were waiting for on a family outing in Los Angeles recently.
Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tori, 47, looked “miserable”, according to onlookers, and neither she nor Dean, 54, were wearing their wedding rings.
This comes just weeks after Tori shared a family photo over the festive season including their children Liam, 13, Stella, 12, Hattie, nine, Finn, eight, and
Beau, three – but no sign of Canadian actor Dean.
Sources tell Woman’s Day that after years of marital issues, including a few “soft splits”, it’s “looking like they are over” after almost 15 years of marriage.

“Tori and Dean have had their fair share of ups and downs,” says an insider. “She is the product of a Hollywood marriage, and [her parents] Aaron and Candy spoiled her rotten as a child. She can still be a total brat, despite the fact she’s approaching 50. Dean can be cruel and moody. They’re awful together despite raising five children. “There has never been a dull moment between them ever – in between all their reality shows poking cameras in their faces and inciting drama between
them in the name of good television, their clashing egos, Tori’s constant family drama and most of all their financial dramas,” says the source. “It’s always been fireworks, but not always the good kind. That has dragged them down and they constantly bicker and fight.”
In 2013, it was revealed that Dean cheated on Tori when he was filming Chopped Canada with Emily Goodhand, but the couple got their marriage back on track after he checked into rehab and admitted his behaviour was “disgusting”.
In 2016, things were looking up – Dean proposed to Tori at Paris’ Eiffel Tower in front of their kids, she was pregnant with their fifth child and friends said their marriage had gone back to normal... until the US taxman crashed the party.
The Inland Revenue Service declared that the couple owed more than $330,000 from the 2014 financial year, and just months later credit card
company American Express sued them over their outstanding debt of around $45,000. Rumours flew around Hollywood that Tori was stone-cold broke, though she denied being bankrupt.
HELP FROM MUMMY
Luckily for her, around the same time she reconciled with her estranged mum Candy, 75, who is said to have bailed her out.
“Candy still pays for the kids’ schooling, and ponies up for their medical bills and clothes if Tori and Dean are hurting for cash,” says our insider. “A lot of that has been a source of tension between Tori and Dean. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and has no problem asking Mummy for money, but it hurts Dean’s pride.
“These days, the only time Tori and Dean play nice is when the kids are around. If the rings are off, it makes me think they could be finally buckling after all these years of holding it together. If they got divorced it might not be such a bad thing in the long run.”
