Playing it safe

A religious man has reached the age of 100 and suddenly stops going to church. The priest gets worried about the man, so he visits his house and finds him in excellent health. “You haven’t been to church in the last few weeks,” the priest says. “Is everything OK?” The old man looks around and lowers his voice. “Well, Father, when I got to 90, I expected God to take me any day. Then I got to 95 and now I’m 100. I think God must be very busy and has forgotten about me and I don’t want to remind him.”
