YARAT to display performance ‘The robots tales about real man’
YARAT Contemporary Art Space will present performance 'The robots tales about real man' by Trikster Theatre (Moscow) on September 24.
The event will be organized in frame 'YARAT Freestyle' and ‘Baku detyam' project.
Trikster theatre is lead by Maria Litvinova and Vyacheslav Ignatov, who are professional theatre directors and “Golden Mask 2010” award winners.
This performance is according to the story of Stanislav Lem. The story is about a fantastic pseudomedieval Universe when robots take place of people. The people appears in stories unusual and dangerous, despite to the fine and perfect race of robots that are living on the fantastic planets in intergalactic space. Story is played out by two actors and fantastic robots from a distant galaxy. Robots, sets and costumes are created Steampunk

YARAT is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing an understanding of contemporary art in Azerbaijan and to creating a platform for Azerbaijani art, both nationally and internationally. Based in Baku, YARAT (meaning CREATE in Azerbaijani) was founded by Aida Mahmudova in 2011.
