National artist’s paintings to be displayed in Louver

An exhibition of modern art, titled "Salon Business Art" will kick off in Paris on October 21.

Azerbaijan’s famous artist Nigar Narimanbek­ova will also display her art works at exhibition, Trend Life reported.

Ten new paintings, including "The Puppet", "the Daughter of the Caspian sea" ,"The Kiss of the Nymph", and others will be showcased at the exhibition.

"It's very prestigiou­s event that will take place in the legendary and iconic place – the Louver, featuring the artworks of the best artists from around the world. I'm very proud to represent Azerbaijan at such exciting art project of Europe. I'm very happy that admirers of my art can see my paintings in such a great museum", said Narimanbek­ova.

Last year, the exhibition kicked off at the Pierre Cardin Center in Paris.

The artist's works were presented by the French Stella Art Internatio­nal Associatio­n. The artist won the Grand Prix of the academicia­n Jean Charles Ashe for outstandin­g achievemen­t in the visual arts.

Jean-Charles Ashe called the artist's painting "The Puppet" a masterpiec­e, stressing that the whole series of paintings "Love Toys" is the highest art.

Nigar Narimanbek­ova, who lives and works in Paris and Baku, was graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School after Azim Azimzade and AllUnion State Institute of Cinematogr­aphy after Gerasimov in Moscow. She has participat­ed in a number of national and internatio­nal art exhibition­s in France, Germany, Austria, and Azerbaijan.

Narimanbek­ova is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the Internatio­nal Associatio­n of Art. Her paintings are displayed in the exhibition halls of the Azerbaijan­i Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Museum of Art of Azerbaijan as well as in private collection­s.
