The Vienna Strauss Festival Orchestra will give a concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku on December 1.

With incomparable style and universal musical experience the orchestra will once again capture the hearts of Azerbaijani people. The orchestra performed its first concert program in Baku in 2014.

The breath-taking show will feature outstanding pieces by Johann Strauss, as well as other Viennese classic composers.

Over 35 years of activity, the orchestra performed in Japan, China, Korea, Russia, Turkey, Romania and other countries. Annually the group opens the famous Viennese Ball on January 1.

Having a contingent of outstanding, experienced musicians, who work permanently with each other, the SFO Vienna is able to maintain its leading position with highest artistical claims, ahead of the numerous ensembles of this kind.

Recognized conductor and virtuoso violinist Peter Gut is the orchestra’s founder and artistic director.

The internationally renowned musician shares the musical direction with his younger colleague Willy Büchler, who takes over the annual tours in Japan and New Years Concerts in the Wiener Konzerthaus. True to the tradition of Johann Strauss, they both conduct also with the violin in hand.

So, be ready for unique performances!
