‘Charms of Hungary and Azerbaijan’ on display

An exhibition entitled "Charms of Hungary and Azerbaijan" has opened at Azerbaijan's National Art Museum.

The photo exhibition organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Baku is timed to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary.

Prominent public and art figures, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan attended the event, Trend Life reported.

Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Imre Laszloczki, addressing the event, stressed the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries is a significant event.

The diplomat added that the relations between Hungary and Azerbaijan are at high level and there is a good potential for their development and expansion in the future. Further, guests got acquainted with the works of photographs, who presented works that reflect the beauty of nature, urban landscapes, monuments, iconic architectural structures of Azerbaijan and Hungary - Baku, Nakhchivan, Shamakhi, Lankaran, Sheki, Ganja, Budapest, Hortobágy, Kalocsa, Eger, Tihany and many others.

Baku hosted “Days of Hungary” on March 16-18 to familiarize Azerbaijanis with the country, its history and traditions. The series of events featured exhibition, concert and fashion to showcase both traditional and modern culture of Hungary.

Hungary recognized Azerbaijan's independence in 1991, and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in April 1992.

The two countries enjoy a huge capacity for the development of trade and economic cooperation. Hungary is also a good platform for Azerbaijani investors.
