Dazzling way to celebrate Chinese New Year
TYARAT Contemporary Art Space and the Confucius Institute have prepared a rich and festive program for you.
A cultural evening to mark the Chinese New Year will be held in YARAT on March 2.
The evening program includes traditional “Lion Dance”,“Little Apple" dance, Chinese folk song “Love”, number “Chinese traditional gymnastics Taijiquan”, Chinese hip-hop dance, “Bamboo under the moonlight” folk song, traditional dance with ribbons, calligraphy workshop (preregistration is required), traditional tea ceremony and much more.

YARAT is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing an understanding of contemporary art in Azerbaijan and to creating a platform for Azerbaijani art, both nationally and internationally. Based in Baku, YARAT (meaning CREATE in Azerbaijani) was founded by Aida Mahmudova in 2011.
It realizes its mission through an on-going program of exhibitions, education events and festivals. YARAT facilitates exchange between local and international artistic networks including foundations, galleries and museums.
