Over 80 countries apply for local non-oil products’ supply

In general, since the launch of the portal in January 2017 and until February 28, 2018, the portal has accepted orders worth $594.1 million from 81 countries.

Russia has been leading on the total volume of applications for the first two months of 2018 – the orders account for 17.8 percent of all applications. The Top 5 also include the U.S. (7.9 percent), Turkey (5.9 percent), Ukraine and Iran (5 percent each).

Analysis of applications shows that the greatest number of orders in February were received for wine, peeled hazelnuts, tea, persimmons, apples, pomegranate juice, strawberries, silk carpets, licorice root and saffron.

Azexport portal (www.azexport.az) was created in accordance with the presidential order “On creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan” dated September 21, 2016.
