New Trade House opens in China
The Trade House of Azerbaijan opened in the Chinese city, Luzhou.
The 600 km area features food and non-food Azerbaijani products, tea, mineral water, alcoholic beverages, fruits, and vegetables.
Vice President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Export and Import of Food Products Su Siaohu noted that the Trading House of Azerbaijan opened in China will be a new stage of trade and economic cooperation. It will also play an important role in terms of popularizing Azerbaijani products among Chinese buyers.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to China Akram Zeynalli said that this Trade House will not only present Azerbaijani products, but also create conditions for the wide dissemination of information about the country's economic, tourist, transport and logistics potential in Luzhou.
Azerbaijan continues to significantly expand the number of its trade and wine houses abroad.
The first Azerbaijani Wine House was opened in Urumqi, China on September 2. Various types of Azerbaijani wines with special taste and quality was shown at the exhibition of Wine House.
In general, Azerbaijan has been actively promoting its brand in foreign countries in recent years. At present the Azerbaijani Trade Houses operate in Ukraine, Belarus and Latvia.
Trade Houses support the promotion of Azerbaijani products under the brand “Made in Azerbaijan”.
According to the figures for 2017, 92 trademarks of Azerbaijan are protected under this brand, while the country’s total output nears 250 kinds of products in food, light, heavy and construction industries. The brand is highly successful in regional and world markets, as Azerbaijan’s local output meets all the necessary standards.
