Via a visually-striking outdoor campaign, BLC promises to lend you a hefty sums of money without the customary hassle. The entire concept uses the visual of acorns or ‘Ballout’ to further illustrate that point. This is a direction that does not translate to other languages and is very specific to an Arabic expression, which reads, ‘Bala ballout’, literally meaning, no joke, or no BS. Though it may not win at Cannes, it nonetheless is a welcome type of illustration that communicates a rare quality among bankers: a sense of humour. This ad is the first project rolling out of Bluetrain, the new boutique agency in town and it sets the tone for future work. May this walnut grow into a mighty oak.
