In this month's issue, Arabad wished to highlight a sample of the best end of year projects presented by students pursuing a major in Advertising and Design, who have just graduated.
This showcase will allow readers and the industry's communication professionals to take a peek at the standard of design expressions and level of thinking local universities are producing.
One of Arabad's mission is to showcase new talents, and assist the next generation of creative practitioners in getting the right and deserved exposure that helps them stand out in a highly competitive industry and land their dream jobs.
According to a survey conducted few years back by Yougov and Bayt. com, 76% of fresh graduates considered finding a job as a top challenge although advertising and marketing emerged as the industry that hires the highest number of fresh graduates.
"The communication business is one of the rare industries which offers this region's youth a chance to express their creativity and see their ideas manifested in a tangible way”, wrote Tanya Dernaika of Memac Ogilvy's Red Academy. “There's no shortage of young people dreaming of a career in advertising, digital, activation and PR.
We truly hope everyone can sense the benefit of such a display and the importance of highlighting local advertising and design works with initiatives that will point the way forward, as we believe one is judged by being as good as his/her last work.
