MIDDLE EAST AIRLINES
A lot people that don’t live in the Middle East have never heard of MEA, Lebanese airline since 1945.
And the people who do know about it or actually use it are privileging other airlines, like Emirates, that use celebreties in their campaigns for example. This makes the brand very attractive for people because of the image it is portraying.
MEA’S communication activities haven’t been competitive enough.
I wanted to promote MEA and give it more recognition on a worldwide scale, and show how a great airline it is. So I thought: there are a lot of celebrities that have unknown Lebanese origins but have “reached places” in their lives, and so I used them in to present my concept.
The campaign comprises two billboards ads, a tactical print, and four Facebook snaps of an online contest.
