Memac Ogilvy has announced the appointmen­t of

Philippe Berthelot

as the agency’s new Managing Director for the UAE. In his new role, Berthelot will lead the agency’s UAE operations, drawing on more than two decades of experience across three continents. This experience sparked an indistingu­ishable passion for tech and innovation that will serve him well at the helm of Memac Ogilvy UAE, as the agency focuses on its Next Chapter strategy to deliver modern marketing solutions that make brands matter. Berthelot will work shoulder to shoulder with Patou Nuytemans, Memac Ogilvy CEO MENA and Chief Digital Officer EMEA, out of Dubai, as the agency accelerate­s its transforma­tion across the region. > Ralph Raad has been appointed as managing director of Memac Ogilvy Beirut. Raad started his career in Beirut in 2004 before moving to Dubai to hold regional roles, managing multinatio­nal businesses such as BAT, P&G, General Motors, Nissan, Bein Sports, Michelin, among others. Ralph moved back to Beirut in 2014 to join the entreprene­urial ecosystem through which he played an active role, building tech startups before joining Memac Ogilvy for which he had already worked in Dubai, Algiers and Casablanca. Raad replaces Naji Boulos.
