Leo Burnett Lagos, one of Nigeria’s fastest growing agencies, has created a print campaign for Amstel beer under the slogan “Live your best life this season.” It is composed of three visuals depicting celebratio­n at the beach, a dinner and an Owambe (Nigerian term meaning the act of throwing money on a dancing person), and meaning here a large, grandiose party that involves a lot of food, dancing, loud music.

Amstel logo’s familiar red and white becomes the landscape/ platform for active celebratio­n, beaming the spotlight on the very common activities during Christmas celebratio­n in Nigeria thereby taking it from something merely aesthetic to something really meaningful that Nigerians can relate to, hence supporting the brand’s philosophy.
