Preliminary investigations showed the collision was caused by one of the vehicles suddenly swerving, colliding with the left barriers of the street as the driver busied himself while driving, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Musallam Mohammed Al Junaibi, Head of Serious Accident Investigation Section, Abu Dhabi Police, said, adding that not leaving enough distance between vehicles was another cause of the multiple vehicle collision.
