VP, Mohamed tweet, ensure everyone’s safety
DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai on Sunday tweeted on the ongoing coronavirus situation in the country.
Sheikh Mohammed wrote, “My brother Mohamed Bin Zayed and I are sending a message to our people that their health is most important, that the UAE’S resources are all devoted to ensuring their safety, that everyone nowadays is responsible for everyone and that the UAE is united in the face of challenges, united to overcome crises and united to preserve achievements. May Allah protect our people and keep our society healthy and safe.
“Today, we also salute loyal men and dedicated homeland soldiers at the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority as well as at health and security authorities, municipalities, economic departments etc. You have properly done your job and we are proud of you. Yet, you have a duty to do and everyone must co-operate with you to overcome this crisis,” the tweet further read.
His Highness Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces tweeted about his meeting with Mohammed Bin Rashid at Al Marmoom.
“Protecting people from the dangers of the spread of coronavirus was the main point of our talks,” Mohamed wrote.
“The UAE under Khalifa has done its utmost to take all preventive measures to protect the society. We will not hesitate to take whatever is necessary to protect people’s health. We are all partners in overcoming this challenge,” the tweet further read.
Meanwhile, the UAE’S Public Prosecution has urged customers to use its smart services to protect the health of customers and employees, in line the preventive measures taken by national authorities and institutions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19. The judicial body noted in a statement that it has improved its smart services available on its website, as well as its smart application, adding that customers do not need to go to customer happiness centres.
