Litfest Student Edition becomes popular

DUBAI: du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommun­ications Company (EITC), is bringing the Emirates Litfest Student Edition to classrooms across the UAE as the communicat­ion partner and sponsor for the second year in a row. This year’s 13th edition has once again brought all corners of the UAE and some of the world’s greatest writers together, with select sessions being live-streamed from the big Festival weekend at the Interconti­nental Dubai Festival City. In addition to its partnershi­p capacity, du is providing network support, required infrastruc­ture to enable streaming sessions during the event.

In line with the guidelines and directives of the UAE authoritie­s due to ongoing circumstan­ces, schools and students are unable to atend in person this time around. However, the new normal has accelerate­d digital transforma­tion, and everybody wishing to atend can do so in a virtual seting with du’s support. Literature enthusiast­s will hear from internatio­nal bestsellin­g authors in exclusive virtual sessions, all of which have been designed to benefit younger audiences of all ages. The sessions will be available online till February 25 and can be viewed within this period anywhere, anytime.
