- Tariq Butt / NNI

CHARSADDA:PAKISTAN Tehrik-e-insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday asked the youth of the country to get ready for long march.

Addressing a rally at Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the former prime minister warned the “imported government” saying that announce elections before his final call.

He said that the situation would get out of control if polls were delayed any further. “Let the change come through the vote. A fair and free election will bring stability to the country because the nation does not trust them, without general elections, there will be no stability in the country,” he added.

Imran further warned that the situation will get out of everyone’s hands if rulers try to stop our “peaceful revolution.”

He said that the rupee has lost 30% of its value since the PDM coalition government came to power.

He asked the youth that you all have to be ready when I give the call, I tell the imported government to announce the elections before my final call.

“I want the entire nation to join me in this Haqeeqi Azadi March to send a clear message that we are not with evil, we are against it,” he maintained.

Separately, former Gilgit-baltistan (GB) chief judge Rana Muhammad Shamim has completely disowned his controversial affidavit that accused former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar of manipulating judicial proceeding to delay the release of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam

Nawaz through a judge of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Earlier on Sept.12, Shamim had partially backtracked from the contents of his affidavit executed in N.v 10 last year, stating that not a single siting judge of the IHC was involved in the controversy and submited an unconditional apology to the high court. He had however stood by his allegations against Nisar.

He submited an unconditional apology in an affidavit submited on Friday in response to the contempt of court proceedings initiated against him following publication of his earlier affidavit in an English daily in Nov 2021.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah had on Sept.12 directed Shamim to submit an unconditional apology in an affidavit.

In the document, Shamim again apologised, disowned his own “controversial” affidavit and withdrew from its contents.
