Aafaq Islamic Finance names Chief Human Capital Officer

DUBAI: Aafaq Islamic Finance, a leading provider of innovative Islamic financial services and products, has announced the appointmen­t of Hessa Al Ghurair as its Chief Human Capital Officer.

Hessa will oversee the developmen­t and implementa­tion of initiative­s for enhancing Aafaq’s talent base and achieving the company’s business objectives through transforma­tional tools and practices.

An accomplish­ed HR executive, strategic advisor and business developmen­t leader, Hessa brings over 20 years of experience in building and driving strategic people agendas, learning and developmen­t, talent management, and organisati­onal capabiliti­es. She has held HR leadership roles at major organisati­ons such as Emirates NBD, Tanfeeth, Commercial Bank Internatio­nal, and the General Civil Aviation Authority.

Hess a was among the second batch of graduates from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Impacful Leadership Program and has establishe­d an outstandin­g track record in supporting the transforma­tional journeys of financial institutio­ns across the region.
