King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, on Thursday received at his residence in Abu Dhabi, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
King Hamad welcomed the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and exchanged with him cordial talks that underpin the depth of the Uae-bahrain fraternal ties.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation across various domains to benefit the mutual interests of their countries and peoples towards further progress and prosperity.
The Bahraini King expressed his appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed for hosting the fraternal consultative meeting that hosted a number of Arab leaders, mainly the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, praising the pivotal and active role played by the UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed on the regional and international arenas.

The meeting was atended by Major General Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander of Bahrain.
UAE PRESIDENT RECEIVES CALL FROM UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday received a telephone call from Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of the Republic of Ukraine, during which they discussed the relations between their countries and ways to develop them.
The two leaders also reviewed the latest developments in the Ukrainian crisis and a number of issues of mutual concern.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed highlighted the importance of continuing communication and talks to find political solutions to the Ukrainian crisis, in light of its humanitarian and economic fallout that has impacted the entire world.
The UAE President also underscored the UAE’S humanitarian approach which entails providing aid to all peoples of the world, stressing the UAE’S support for all initiatives and efforts aimed at reaching a political solution that puts an end to the crisis and re-establishes security, stability and peace.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed also offered his condolences to President Zelenskyy over the death of Ukrainian Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky and a number of officials and civilians, who died in a helicopter crash.
For his part, the Ukrainian President expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for the humanitarian support that the UAE continues to provide to the Ukrainian people, and for his active role in promoting peace.
UAE PRESIDENT, PRESIDENT OF REPUBLIC OF CONGO REVIEW BILATERAL TIES: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received at Qasr Al Shati Palace, Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the
Congo, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed President Felix Tshisekedi, who is atending the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week as part of his visit to the UAE, and reviewed with him bilateral relations and opportunities of enhancing them in various domains, wishing him and his country progress and prosperity,
The two sides affirmed their mutual keenness to strengthen economic and development ties, in addition to capitalising on opportunities that serve the benefit of their friendly peoples.
The meeting was atended by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court; Ali Mohammed Al Shamsi, Secretary-general of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President; Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State; and Hazza Mohammed Al Qahtani, UAE Non-resident Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
