"In Good Spirit” a campaign launched by Diageo in partnership with Public Interest Design ‘PID’ is inspired by Diageo’s global commitment to encourage responsible handling of alcohol products and PID’S methodology of involving and creating a shared value for consumers, producers, distributors, marketers, and sellers. “In Good Spirit” is executed through multiple channels and consumer touchpoints and will extend over five years. It invites both the youth and bar and shop owners to handle alcohol responsibly when selling, serving or consuming it. The campaign is created to inspire positive change in the community's mindset around alcohol handling and promotes the understanding of the effects caused by its abuse. Ultimately “In Good Spirit” becomes a movement that keeps the public and communities happy, healthy and safe. Now in its eighth edition, Radisson Blu Martinez Hotel Beirut held its month long campaign across Lebanon. The Box Appeal involves volunteers from the hotel in Beirut, along with the Lebanese Food Bank, joining forces to fill boxes with a predetermined list of daily essential items of dry food. Volunteers distributed boxes to NGOS who then delivered them to underprivileged families across Lebanon. This year’s campaign was sponsored by Tannourine, Coca Cola and Mclaren. Launched in 2008, the Box Appeal has collected more than 90,000 boxes for the Middle East’s less fortunate.
