Avani brings Art in the Park
Avani Gaborone Resort and Casino wants to set itself apart and be regarded as a premium lifestyle destination of choice. Located in the hub of the capital city, the establishment curates and conceptualizes some of the finest and best lifestyle events. This November 28, the establishment will launch and hold its first event dubbed, Art in the Park.
The day promises to tick all the tight boxes for all of those who love the finer things in life. The day will all be about exploring art in its different forms, from good food, entertainment as well as art and crafts. Speaking in an interview with the Sales and Marketing Manager for Avani, Nikki Chigodora, she explains that the whole idea behind the event is to engage with their audience and give them a creative platform to express themselves. She paints that on the day, they will be treated to art in different forms ranging from Henna tattoos body art, temporary tattoos and other forms of expression through art.
“As Avani, we are famous for artistically demonstrating and taking our guests on a journey through food, drinks and entertainment,” she explains, adding that this is one event that will leave their audience spoilt for choice. The event will be held on the lawn and guests will be given coupons to taste food and drinks which will be on offer, before buying their favourite tastes.
She further notes that they are in talks with artists who will add colour to the day. Details about these artists will be revealed at a later stage. “We are looking into turning the event into an annual event,” she says.
