Ko Jointeng warms Maun eatery outlets

- IRENE SHONE BG CORRESPONDENT

The immaculate look at the newly opened Ko Jointeng complements the fresh vibe as people chill anticipating mouth- watering meals, drinks and of course the lovely view.

Most people enjoy chilling at one spot where they can grab their meals, while also having their alcoholic or non- alcoholic beverages in the company of their families and within a well- structured place. Just three weeks ago, Ko Jointeng in Maun was opened to cater for these exceptional needs with a bar, restaurant and swimming pool facility to offer that homely feel as the name suggests. Ko Jointeng is slang, and loosely translates to ‘ at home’ and this newly opened place was set up to just offer that ambiance and allow both fun lovers and corporates a space to unwind.

Director at Ko Jointeng, Tlamelo Rammetseng, says although the place has been in operation for 3 weeks now, they are happy about the reception. This he says shows that people in Maun have been longing for such a place. “This is one place you visit and enjoy a homely calm environment and it is ideal for hangouts over a meal and drinks. We are aware that sometimes one needs fresh air, away from their own houses to just relax under a twirl of soft music and good food, so we chose to offer that,” says Rammetseng. He adds that, Maun as a tourist based place often has many visitors and this was their way of also contributing towards the recreational space within the home town. “The idea behind this project was mainly to cater for people longing for much of an in town, nice homely kind of environment and yet still be able to have fun,” he adds.

Their high end restaurant offers variety of meals, ranging from easy breakfast along other meals of the day as well as other scrumptious fast foods. They are already well- known for their lip- smacking burgers and pizza. The luxury Inn also through its set up, allows for intimate sessions,

both indoors and outdoors, with that eloquent feel. The outdoor area captures the eye with its greenery view and a swimming pool setup meant to offer serene touch and a refreshing moment over that busting heat of Maun during summer time. Rammetseng adds that for the sessions held at their lifestyle outlet, they take care of the décor, rendering that customized view for both adults and children as their place is child friendly. He also tells BG Style that, they are still to improve the place as they are about international standard and serving with integrity. “There is quite a few things we did, that we are working on within the industry and will reveal to our clientele in the near future,” said Rammetseng.
