Afro Botho returns with soulful retreat
Mindfulness organisation, Afro Botho is returning with yet another thrilling and soulful retreat. The event dubbed ‘ All of me’ retreat. The retreat, is a day treat for the body mind, soul and soul for guests who wish to fine tune their chakra, and align their thoughts and body.
The event, says event organizer, MotherK Masire, is inspired by the season of harvest and gratitude after the intensity of summer. Autumn, she says, is a time of transformation.
“This restorative retreat has been curated to nurture, nourish and restore in sync with the natural world,” she explains.
She notes that as seasons change, so too does the environment around. “And as organisms inextricably bound to our ecosystem, we will inevitably feel that shift as well,” said Masire.
Giving insights about the offerings for the day, she states that they will hold loving and nurturing space for participants to settle back into their natural rhythm. The event takes place this Saturday at a farm in Lobatse.
“The day offering includes a moment to indulge and let the stresses dissolve away as you soak your feet in a pampering foot soak. Participants will engage in body awareness in the form of yoga and intuitive movement,” said Masire. She also notes that guests will have a chance to take time to reset their body, mind and soul with breath exercises and guided meditations. Other highlights of the day will include a massage as a way to re- educate the body- mind connection via the skin. On offer, will also be plant based meals which are specifically paired with the objective of the day.
“We have no doubt that our guests will leave feeling their most energetic, and high- vibing selves,” she explained.
“The cherry on top is the treats that we have made for our guest to carry the energy of the day with them back home,” adds Masire. Tickets for the event are going for P800.
