purpose was to create a body responsible for coordinating sports volunteer activities in Botswana. The SVM is nationally coordinated by the SVM National Executive Committee, and has regional committees around the country, reporting to the National Executive Committee. Since 2000, according to Mr. Poloko, the movement has registered volunteers who have been and are lody Dube was the first Motswana to reach the finals of the Olympics.
