Protea Hotel creates Safari in the city

The second edition of the Safari in the City event is slated for this Saturday. The Protea by Masa Square Hotel event gives coffee lovers an experience unlike any other. Coffee or let’s say Amarula lovers will indulge in scrumptious treats, with mind blowing flavours.

Prawns infused with Amarula, for instance, promises to give guests, the ultimate indulgence when it comes to food, and Amarula.

For entertainment, DJ Kellz who is one of Protea’s popular entertainers of choice will be on the decks. A man who knows that when it comes to entertainment, guests want quality music, he will once again give them a set worthy of their time and most importantly energy. With a fusion of music from across genres, it is always a pleasure to dance the night away, courtesy of Kellz. Also, on the decks is none other than TeddyisnotaDJ, who will set the decks on fire.

According to the event organisers, highlights to look forward to include an array of delectable dishes, welcoming drinks, and most importantly a bottle of the all new Amarula Ethiopian Coffee.

In a brief interview with the Sales & Marketing Manager for Protea Masa, Botho Mogami, she explains that the first edition of the Safari in the City was held in 2019. This time around, she says that they wanted to give revellers a different experience in the city. She further says that in the first edition, guests were treated to dishes that include Amarula shots, chicken livers infused with Amarula to mention a few. She further says that the idea behind the event is to communicate the internationally renowned African cream liqueur and showcase its versatility.
