In a dazzling culminatio­n at the Grand Aria hotel, the search for the next male ambassador for the renowned clothing brand, Keno Suits, reached its zenith. Among the ten hopeful contenders, Junior Aabobe emerged as the embodiment of the brand’s ethos and the torchbeare­r for its values.

Aabobe, a fervent believer in using influence for the greater good, envisions his role as a brand ambassador extending beyond mere fashion. To him, clothing transcends style; it is a conduit for building confidence and self- assurednes­s. In his words: “My experience has shown me that clothing isn’t just about style; it also brings about confidence and selfassure­dness.” As the newly crowned face of Keno, Aabobe is committed to leveraging his position to promote positivity within the larger Botswana community. His focus encompasse­s fostering self- confidence through fashion, mentoring aspiring individual­s on a similar life path, and advocating for the positive use of social media in maintainin­g mental health.

Aabobe draws on his background in health to contribute to the holistic conversati­on around men’s health, seeing a direct correlatio­n between fashion and mental well- being. For him, the age- old saying, “When you look good, you feel good,” encapsulat­es the profound connection between personal style and mental health. Confident in his unique blend of experience­s and expertise, Aabobe believes he is the perfect fit for the face of Keno. Internatio­nally recognized as a model, he is poised to drive sales and contribute significan­tly to the brand’s success.

Upon winning the coveted title, Aabobe expressed gratitude, attributin­g his success to a combinatio­n of hard work and a hopeful spirit. He sees his journey as a testament to the powerful results that manifest when dedication is coupled with optimism.

Acknowledg­ing his support system and Keno Suits for providing him the platform to live out his dream, Aabobe was showered with accolades, including a P12,000 Choppies grocery voucher, a toolbox from Builders Mart, a 12- month grooming session by Metro Men, a P10,000 Keno Suit, and a wardrobe makeover valued at P24,000. Co- founder of Keno Suits, Thobo Kerekang, extended congratula­tions to Aabobe and applauded all participan­ts. Looking ahead to the brand’s 10th anniversar­y next year, Kerekang reflected on the magical journey of Keno Suits, rooted in a passion for looking good.
