Eight Matches are Scheduled for this Weekend’s Orange FA Cup Last 16

With the Orange FA Cup last 16 approachin­g, football fans across the country are in for a weekend of exciting action. The knockout competitio­n will feature eight matches spread across the country, with the most anticipate­d clashes taking place on Saturday and Sunday, and fans should expect thrilling encounters as the teams battle it out for a place in the quarter- finals.

One of the standout matches on Saturday’s schedule will be between Township Rollers and Nico United at the National Stadium. These two Premier League teams will be going head- to- head in what is expected to be an exciting encounter. Nico United coach, Mogomotsi Mpote has stated that the Orange FA Cup is an opportunit­y for his team to achieve something this season, as they know they have no chance of winning the league. Township Rollers, on the other hand, are confident and determined to do well in the Orange FA Cup, with their recent good form giving them a boost.

In what is to be an interestin­g matchup, Jwaneng Galaxy will travel to Serowe to face Tsabotlhe FC. This is a game where the outcome is hard to predict, as Galaxy is a big Premier League team while Tsabotlhe is a small lower division team. Now, Gaborone United will be looking for revenge as the defending champions of the FA Cup. It will be interestin­g to see if they can overcome the challenge from Security Systems, who will be looking to prove that they can beat them consecutiv­ely.
