Have you ever imagined a moment where you had Amarula and coffee at the same time and wondered how it would taste? Well, it is a drinking experience like no other and if you did not attend the Safari in the City event held Saturday at Masa Protea Hotel Rooftop, you actually missed.

It was an ambient and blissful session where attendees were treated to an evening of delight as the new Amarula Ethiopian Coffee flowed endlessly.

The Amarula Ethiopian Coffee is a delicate blend of wild Ethiopian Arabica beans with creamy notes of marula, citrus and caramel. It is a cream liquor that infuses the flavour of original marula fruit with Ethiopian Mocha

Coffee and it is safe to say the people loved it. Whilst there are a few who did not comply with the theme, which was Safari in the city, most patrons did.

The place was draped in ambient colours that resonate with the wild further complimented by flambouyant shades of safari green. The combination of Amarula and Ethiopian coffee has been a fascinating concept especially in the African space.

This is because both products have deep roots in being sourced from the African ground delivering a taste that is authentic and appealing to African longings.

The piquant taste of Amarula and Ethiopian coffee delivered a delicate blend of the wild Ethiopian Arabica beans with creamy notes of marula, citrus and caramel which created a drinking experience like no other.

To the merry of attendees, an array of delicacies were served alongside easing Jazz music to soothe and ease the atmosphere. Performing at the event was DJ Teddy and Stax who made it difficult for the crowd to barely sit down as jovial dance styles flooded the dance floor.

The event was juggled up with games as attendees were invited on stage to create their own Amarula cocktail drinks. The small dark cloud that brought a 20-minute drizzle made the occasion even more blissful.

The event was a success, reminding attendees of the richness of African culture and the special ability the wild has in allowing people to unwind and relax. From the moment it started until the end, the event maintained a high tempo of jovial recollections that left attendees eager for the session.
