PEUBO Investments delivers on promises
PPEUBO Investments (PTY)LTD, a subsidiary entity of Botswana Sector of Educators Trade Union (BOSETU) has delivered on its promises with the hand over of four vehicles to its shareholders. EUBO Investments was established upon realisation that there is a need to provide the BOSETU members with tailor made yet affordable products and services.
The company’s primary mandate is to provide an array of products and services specifically to BOSETU membership.
PEUBO trades in micro and major scale loan packages to the BOSETU membership. PEUBO Investments has handed four vehicles to the company’s shareholders. Speaking at the vehicle handover ceremony held on Monday (April 22, 2024), PEUBO Investments’ board chairperson,
Samuel Aboneng said the hand over is a testament that the entity is committing to its promises and would continue to fulfill its mandate to the trade union. Aboneng said PEUBO Investments has been consistent in the past years in terms of paying out dividends. He made a solemn pledge that the entity would continue to pay out dividends to the mother union to help achieve its primary mandate.
“This is the continuation of the meeting we had in December and we are here to fulfill the promise that we have made in the month of December during our shareholders meeting. Where we have indicated that as PEUBO, we are to continue to expand firmly the helping hand and address the needs of the shareholders that have been established,” said Aboneng.
He added that there was a realization that the trade union is having limitations in accessing the full length of the country hence the purchase of the four vehicles. “Some of the glaring needs that we established were the issue of mobility, the lack of resources to reach several places in the country where our members are to be found.
“We have said we will continue at the shareholders and recognise them and give where is need. It humbles me to be here to present four vehicles to our shareholders. This is to assist to reach members and do the needful,” said Aboneng.
