Sensational house singer Lorraine Ditsebe, recently released a single titled Because of You, which is sure to captivate house lovers this festive season, especially as it has hints of the Amapiano genre.
Ditsebe recently told Vibe that she composed this song during the lockdown period, the time where she only held to beautiful love memories amidst all frustrating moments. “As much as depressing and exhausting lockdown period was, I held onto beautiful love memories and spent more time with family, so love and music carried me through this tough season hence this new single dubbed Because of You,” she explained. She further said that she has come to admit that she listens to Amapiano a lot, and even DJ Amapiano sets while working, which is why she had to enthuse her song with these admirable beats. “Feedback, is really humbling so far and people appreciate the twist I have done with the song,” she said. She shared that the song is also available on social media platforms where all my fan base even outside the country could access it. Ditsebe lamented that Covid-19 pandemic has negati vel y affected many artistes, herself included. “I had thought by now, I would have relocated to Shangai, China, to study music and explore other opportunities I have lined up there, but this did not happen because of the pandemic. On the other hand, normally, festive season is a recharging season for me as I travel and explore adventures and buy books to read,” she said. Nonetheless, she said she would be focusing on the lost time and has also started catering food, and believes that before end of the year she would have released two music videos. She reiterated that she has already started planning for 2021 and its new chapter. “I have begun celebrating each day as it comes because life is a gift and with so many interesting events, and so I am hopeful and believe that my field of career and talents are destined to take me places, in the next coming years,” she said.
