Franco’s Soul Fill Up returns

- BY NEO KOLANTSHO

The Ke Lela le Lona hitmaker, Frank Franco Lesokwane says his fans can now wipe the dust off their shelved tickets that they bought last year for the Soul Fill Up with Franco festival.

He will soon deliver the much-anticipated jam of all festivals as promised. Franco’s plans of hosting the biggest festival in April 2020 were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

He was forced to abandon everything for more than a year. Things are finally looking up and the seasoned artist of 17 albums to his belt will be going back to plan for the biggest event of his music career that spans over two decades.

But not so fast though!

“I will still give my supporters what I promised them but after I have carefully assessed all and confident that the event will not be cancelled all over again. Remember the festival will definitely be a crowd puller,” Franco said. The intention is to have a crowd of over 15 000 attendees and more. Franco spent a lot of money preparing for the 2020 event. He had printed merchandise and invested much in activations and hyping the event. The city was adorned with banners and posters of the event. He will not want to find himself back at square one all over again. He assures all those who had bought the P100 tickets that they will be allowed entry at the festival upon producing proof of purchase. “We will be selling more tickets to allow for those who had not bought them,” he said. Franco recently returned to stage for the first time since March 2020, at Fora Farm where it was packed. He has also performed at Trekkers Club in Mogoditshane, where legions of his fans also gathered.
