Matebele FC mean business

-

“This season our main objective is to gain promotion to the Premier League, for FA cup, we will see how far we go, our main priority is winning the First Division League,” Communications Manager of the club, Kaelo Kediseng shared.

“We have set ourselves only two years in First Division and get promotion to Premier League, if we manage that, we will give ourselves another two years, to avoid relegation first and then challenge for honours.

We want to be a self-sustainable team and we are currently working on building our own stadium, The Nest, and developments are ongoing,” he added.

The club has also given Fast-Track security to advertise on the chest space of their replicas as a sister company to IP-Space, as Macheke looks to build his conglomerate of companies which will in turn support the team.

Matebele FC also have a clothing brand called Dreamers Sportswear which promotes the selfsustainability of the club, according to Kediseng and they also dress anyone interested.

Kediseng added that they have full trust in former Mochudi Centre Chiefs Zimbabwean gaffer, Elias Chinyemba to lead them to Premier League, after parting-ways with former Zebras midfielder, Michael Mogaladi who promoted the side to First Division.

“He twice promoted Tafic to Premier League, he assembled a strong competitive team at Centre Chiefs before leaving and he’s proven his qualities at this level, promoting teams is his specialty. With his impressive track-record and with the recruitment we have made, we are positive that we will achieve our dream,” the club’s Communications Manager indicated.

Matebele will be looking to claim the scalp of Uniao Flamengo Santos as they look to staying within touching distance of early pace-setters Notwane FC, who are yet to drop points.
