NOTWANE, MAGOSI FACE OFF

- BY SUN REPORTER

The Debswana First Division South (DFDS) League has been exciting since the beginning of the season and seems it will carry on this coming Sunday when two local giants lock horns.

Toronto and Magosi will kick the dust at SSG Grounds this Sunday and both teams are expected to bring their legion of supporters to the game as things are beginning to heat up in the lower league.

A long standing rivalry between the two teams continues in this weekend fixture.

Meanwhile, both teams are seeking redemption following their hurtful defeats over the weekend, Notwane went down 1-2 against Young Stars while Mochudi Center Chiefs were dropped by Tlokweng United with a solitary goal.

Notwane has been at the summit of the log since the season started, unfortunately their defeat saw them dropping to position 3 behind Matebele and CrackIt City Polar, the side will want to retain their top sport as soon as possible.

However, there is unrest looming at Notwane as it has been reported that the technical team has threatened to dump the club since they are failing to pay them, but nothing official has been reported. These are some of the things that have disrupted their rhythm in the last game and might go on in the coming weekend.

For Mochudi Center Chiefs, it will get from bad

to worse should they find themselves losing this game, as they will further drop from the leading pack since they lost against CrackIt City Polar this season.

While Notwane are occupying third spot with 11 points Magosi are fourth with just 10 points from 6 encounters, VTM and Flamengo Santos are breathing heavily on their neck both having 9 points in position 5 and 6 respectively.

At the top, Matebele are cruising with 14 points while CrackIt City Polar are on second spot with 12 points. The two sides will also meet over the weekend to determine who will finish the weekend in top sport.

This battle of the top four will give the spectators and football lovers a very entertaining and exciting football weekend, with the top spot already up for grabs and teams hoping to gain momentum by winning against their equals.
