Kuswani rises in Table Tennis
Back in 2008, Constance Kuswani, joined table tennis out of curiosity, not knowing that one day she would be one of Botswana’s female top ranked table tennis stars.
Currently ranked number 3 by Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA), Kuswani has recently qualified to represent Botswana at the African Union Sports Commission AUSC Region 5 Tournament that will be held at Botho University in Gaborone from 29th June to 2nd July. So far, she has played two local tournaments this year, where she scooped a bronze medal in both of them.
“I am happy and proud of securing a spot in the national team once again, It is evident that I am consistent, and I proved myself once more to my coaches and everyone who rally behind me. I look forward to scooping a medal in all the events during the region 5 games, qualify for the 2024 world championships and the Africa Senior Championships to be held this year,” She added.
She said that her table tennis journey from Junior and senior school was guided by sports coordinators and her seniors in the school team. She says she never came across a professional coach to better her skills and tactics until at an older age where she joined BDF table tennis club back in 2016, and met a highly qualified table tennis coach,
