Roses in December impresses
UPIC TV gives hope to local story tellers
‘Roses in December’ was premiered in style last Friday at the New Capitol Cinemas in Riverwalk mall.
Movie lovers honoured the theme as they came dressed elegantly to witness local content being launched in red carpet style.
‘Roses in December’ was produced by a local production company,Torch Studio known for its best shootings. This is a 60-minute drama-comedy that reflects the reality of life and reminds humanity that “you can’t choose your family”.
In this film, another family’s secrets finally got revealed after lying dormant for years . This happened when the Mogami family was brought together by their father’s sudden massive stroke. Like it’s a norm in Africa that when one family member is critically ill, close family members nurse the patient to health. This film depicted that reality so well. They captured this in that funny yet realistic manner.
The film features a stellar cast of Botswana’s finest and seasoned actors, including the talented Kgomotso Ratsie, known for her exceptional performance in South Africa’s renowned prime time TV show ‘Scandal,’ and the talented Peelo Mookodi, who has also made appearances on SA’s Top Billing show. This online film release was made possible by Torch Studio in collaboration with UPIC Tv.
UPIC Tv is a product of Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet) that was launched in
