Hilton Garden Inn Hotel: A marvel

- BY IRENE SHONE

Hilton Garden Inn Gaborone is situated in the heart of the city’s CBD.

The hotel is moving towards aligning itself with Botswana national eco-tourism strategy. The ambiance of the hotel carries a welcoming feeling just from the door step. Come rain or sunshine, you will always feel home when visiting Hilton Garden Inn.

My observation is that each time one steps into this classy hotel, there is always someone to usher them in with a warm reception. In March, Hilton Garden Inn Gaborone launched new ‘Travel with Purpose’ initiative just to ensure that their guests feel the utmost convenience when they visit.

This initiative was launched as part of the hotel’s new and innovative sustainability initiatives for their Travel with Purpose’s Environment, Social and Governance strategy meant to redefine and advance sustainable travel globally.

Food lovers would agree that Hilton Garden Inn serves amazing food, teas and gins as well as cocktails.Their tasty hot chocolate and their divine virgin cocktails are to ‘die for.’

Executive Chef who aligns to the sustainable food and dining experience was introduced when launching the Travel with Purpose initiative. This was deliberately done to extend into the dining and culinary experience, with new Executive

Chef, Shaneil Dinna, as their champion in the new approach to food at the hotel.

The hotel incorporated local tastes by simply ensuring that local signature dishes are on the new menu. This means international guests who visit the country can enjoy the rich local food at the hotel.

Bartender, Bumble Bee makes guests feel like they are home with some of his crisp and classic, to bold and botanical tonics. The hotel also made sure that mothers feel special this past Sunday on Mother’s Day as they prepared a suitable scrumptious food treat plus a gift for the beautiful mothers. Accommodation facilities at Hilton Garden Inn is also out of this world.
