Pizza Bag, a local pizza eatery looks forward to establishing a fully operational, healthy but affordable eateries around busy places in Gaborone.

Owner of Pizza Bag, Dzikamani John Andina’s pizza hut is unmatched, as she says good taste is what she considers perfection for any food business. Interestingly, attracted her to the world of pastry is the fact that she inherited curiosity for food preparation with both parents being former chefs. The pizza spot located in Block 8 started operating in March 2023 and already gets quiet positive feedback on their products. They offer a variety of products including; hunger buster, fried pies, samosas, vienna/meat rolls, scones, potato cheese pancakes, and platters.

“We also do catering for all events according to client specifications,” said Andina. She added that variety is important when it comes to serving food and so they offer a variety of flavors for their products. For their Pizza, they have have russian roulette, spicy chicken and greasly beef flavors while for pies they have; Russian, chili beef, burger pie and chicken peri and for hunger buster they have Chicken,beef and russian.

Andina’s observation is that, today’s world revolves much around fast foods as people do not really have much time on their schedules. This she said means that competition is rising as pizza lovers are emerging, making it a fast rising fast food enterprise in the country.

“This also comes with opportunity for new customers depending on the style and taste of the product, so as pizza spots increase I want to satisfy my clientele taste buds by setting up in busy places around town in the future,” she said. She however lamented that they still face the main challenge being unreliable customers that call and don’t pick up orders which results in losses.
