BNSC struggles with maintenance of facilities
The Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) has submitted a maintenance budget proposal of P30 Million to the Government.
The BNSC acknowledges that its sports facilities are in need of repair and has made a commitment to improve their condition. The BNSC has pledged to continue to maintain its facilities to ensure that they are in good working order. This budget proposal will help to improve the quality of the BNSC’s facilities, and are committed to providing the best possible experience for all who use its facilities. BNSC’s Annual General Meeting in Gaborone over the weekend. During his address, Morule mentioned that the Commission has ongoing projects and maintenance programs. He stated that a consultant has been engaged to develop a master plan for BNSC Land, and the final report is expected by January 20th, 2024. In addition, Morule highlighted the need for improved facilities and equipment, and stressed the importance of working together to achieve these goals. “Our infrastructure is in a state of disrepair. It requires a significant maintenance budget to bring it back to a habitable state. The BNSC has submitted a proposal to the Government for a P30 Million maintenance budget to address the many challenges our facilities face around the country. This is a critical issue, and we hope the Government will provide the necessary funding to bring our facilities up to standard,” Morule said. The BNSC is dedicated to maintaining these facilities and keeping them in good condition and they will continue to work with the Government to ensure that this is done to the best of their ability. On the other hand, he highlighted that
