Young motivational speaker ignites passion
Tracey Ramasilo, 16, of Kanye, is making waves as an exceptional motivational speaker, often captivating audiences with wisdom beyond her years! She is known as ‘Sage P’ to her clientele and followers. The teenager is a Form Three student from Tlhomo Junior School, eagerly awaiting her Junior Certificate examinations results. She has already graced local university graduation ceremonies, prominent entertainment events, and is currently touring schools to share her amazing skills.
The Midweek Sun sat down with the rising star over the weekend to learn about her journey to becoming a professional who is already profiting from her talent at a young age. She revealed that she discovered her skill in the presentations that she made before the school assembly at the tender age of eight years, at Rachele Primary School in
Kanye. With her beautiful and eloquent English, Sage P emphasises that when she steps up to the podium for a presentation, she ensures she speaks to the soul, not just the face. “I believe the foundation of a positive life starts with a positive soul, and my mission is to make the world a better place through the gift of speaking to the multitudes,” she expressed. The young star has successfully established and grown her brand across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The mileage from these platforms continues to attract support for her. She has even been selected as an Ambassador for some of the local universities. She frequently delivers impactful messages addressing various social issues, including academic stress, challenges of adolescence, abuse of social media, mental health issues, stagnancy in life, and more. Sage P shares a daily dose of inspirational messages on social
media, noting that it helps her reach out to diverse audiences. “I want to create a space where young people feel heard and safe. My goal is to encourage them to embrace their individuality and pursue their passion fearlessly,” she notes. Sage P believes her talent is a calling. Her biggest achievement was when an alcohol addict approached her after a presentation in 2023. The individual promised to never resort to alcohol again when going through tough life phases as he was touched by her words. “By that, I accomplished in moments what a rehabilitation programme might take approximately five years to do, I touch souls through my speeches and positively change people, and the person was a grown adult!” she mused. In addition to motivational speaking, Sage P is a fashion model and expresses great confidence in her potential to succeed in television presenting.
