RSC debuts debts restructuring conference
Rescue Solutions Capital (RSC) pledges P500 million supports to refinance distressed businesses following its inaugural business debt restructuring and turnaround conference next month.
Through the conference, RSC seeks to bring various experts from all corners to discuss and highlight solutions to the key business challenges with the main challenge being the need for total business turn around. This includes financial restructuring, operational restructuring, tax restructuring and legal restructuring.
RSC is an emerging Botswana based (with an affiliate in New York, U.S.A) dynamic alternative investments boutique focused on distressed business investments, deploying appropriate capital and operational solutions to save collapsing businesses and job losses.
With the current challenge of businesses, RSC stated that their aim is to help distressed businesses to revive, grow and thrive for the benefit of owners, shareholders, employees and all other valuable stakeholders. “We will look forward to invest 500 Million pula, and focus on refinancing distressed businesses. Our aim is to help such businesses to revive, grow and thrive for the benefit of shareholders, employees, customers, creditors and the community at large within which the business operates.”
Speaking to the Business Trends, RSC Marketing Manager, Basadi Masimolole highlighted that the conference aims to be a unique and highly prestigious financial industry specific event. “Revitalizing Futures, as the 2024 theme will be a catalyst for transformative discussions, equipping Botswana Business participants with insights and strategies to navigate financial challenges and lead their businesses towards a prosperous future.”The conference fee is at the value of P1,750 per business representative and about 200 attendants are expected to be drawn from across SPEDU region and other Botswana economic zones. Masimolole said this will be a yearly conference addressing the needs of Small and Medium Enterprises across the country. “The aim is to change the venue annually, but this time we have opted for Selibe Phikwe as a Special Economic Zone, which surely is in need of revival like any other. The excellent response so far has shown us that participants will be from all over the country.”
