Nchadinyana rebrands
Features husband General Tuco in upcoming new single
The celebrated artiste Preacher Bae, otherwise known as Nchadinyana has finally rebranded to ‘Nchadinyana’ as her official stage name.
This development comes with a special emphasis, as the newly wedded musician has released a brand new single featuring her husband artiste, General Tuco.
This single is a banger Afro Pop offering titled ‘Magodimo a dumalana’. Like many of the Afro Pop songs, this is a celebratory love song. “This is a love song about an answered prayer between lovers,” General Tuco explained. He shared that love is one of the greatest feelings in life and as a musician couple they saw it fit to share their love story through music. It has been their dream to tie the knot and this has since become their answered prayer.
Asked why the rebranding, Nchadinyana told Vibe that this seems to be her legit stage name as it still remains the popular name she is known for. “When I joined the music industry, through Culture Spears, I played a charecter ‘Nchadinyana’ on this particular music video-song, and since then everyone else referred to me as Nchadinyana. When I released my solo work, I rebranded to Preacher Bae but people still called me Nchadinyana,” she explained, further sharing that even in South Africa where her music is played, everyone calls her Nchadinyana. She further shared that ‘Magodimo a dumalane’ as a love song would officially be released on the Valentines Day week.
“We have decided to release the song in the month of love - February, as a way of celebrating love and dropping a worthwhile song for lovers to celebrate with,” said Nchadinyana. The couple is hopeful that their fans would appreciate the song and make it part of their love music album. After the release of this song, they would also work on it’s beautiful video to enthuse fans.
