- IRENE SHONE

The reigning Miss Botswana, Lesego Chimbo is already doing the most in India Delhi, where she is attending the 71st Miss World competition.

Chombo left Botswana this past Saturday to join other queens from different nations of the world to battle for the Miss World crown. For the Day One standouts the beautiful Chombo has left an excellent impression. An independent pageant commentor, Alvin Sebetero said that Chombo demonstrated a solid win on the first day as she came prepared with the ‘first impressions’ notion. Besides her beauty and amazing personality, Chombo’s dress also left him in awe. Her white classy dress with a touch of fur was designed by local fashion designer, Seloba Creations fashion designers.

The designers indeed put together a masterpiece suitable for the queen as one of the judges happily shared that she looked ravishing in her dress and they were obsessed with her choice of dress.

“It’s a very good choice for the first appearance. That’s how you make an impression on the first day. I also loved her hair, which was styled in a way that revealed her natural beauty,” said Sebetero.

Chombo neatly put together her faux-locks braided style in a beautiful bun which overlapped a bit at the front.

He couldn’t miss stating how he loved Chombo’s videos, as he was also impressed by her personality and energy.

Batswana are also excited about this first impressive move of the pageant and look forward to supporting their queen. Their wish is for Chombo to break the record and bring the crown back home. They believe that she is a beauty with brains who deserves this crown. The Miss Botswana team has urged people to support Chombo however they can, to motivate her to emerge the winner as she has already impressed the world on day one.
